How to use the club rental

Quick-Start Guide

1 — Fire selector

Fire selector

The selector lever sits above the pistol grip on the left side. It has three positions:

๐Ÿ”ด
SAFE

Trigger is locked โ€” the replica cannot fire. Always use this position in the safe zone and whenever you are not actively in a game.

๐ŸŸก
SEMI

One trigger pull fires one BB. This is the standard mode for most TAR game scenarios.

๐ŸŸข
AUTO

Holding the trigger fires continuously. Confirm with the marshal whether full-auto is allowed in the current game scenario.

โš   Always switch to SAFE before entering the safe zone or when moving between game areas.

2 — Loading the magazine

The magazine holds up to 450 BBs and uses a wind-up spring feed. A committee member will assist you with BBs on the day.

  1. 1
Press the magazine release button Press the magazine release button Press the magazine release button โ€” located on the right side above the mag well โ€” to remove the magazine from the replica before loading.
  2. 2
Open the top plate Open the top plate Slide open the small cover on the top of the magazine.
  3. 3
Pour in the BBs Pour in the BBs Pour the 6mm BBs into the opening until the magazine is full (only TAR BBs purchased from TAR are to be used).
  4. 4
Close the top plate Close the top plate Slide the cover back until it is closed.
  5. 5
Wind the feed wheel Wind the feed wheel Wind the wheel on the bottom of the magazine to feed BBs from the reservoir to the feeding port. You will notice a difference in winding โ€” starting with a slack winding and a light clicking sound, progressing to winding with a bit of pressure and a slightly heavier clicking sound when BBs are in the feeding port. After winding you have roughly 20โ€“30 BBs in the feeding tube under pressure. Once used, continue winding after every 20โ€“30 shots.
  6. 6
Insert the magazine Insert the magazine Push the magazine up into the mag well until you hear a click. Give it a firm downward tug to confirm it is seated securely.

3 — Removing the magazine

Press the magazine release button โ€” located on the right side above the mag well โ€” and pull the magazine down to remove it.

โš   After removing the magazine, there may still be a BB in the chamber. Point the replica in a safe direction and pull the trigger once to clear it before going to the safe zone.

4 — Adjusting the stock

The retractable crane stock adjusts to six positions. Press the stock release lever (on the left side of the stock) and slide the stock in or out to a comfortable length, then release.
